French Club

Spackenkill High School’s French Club is 50 members strong and our goal is to promote a love and appreciation for the French language and culture. We meet a minimum of twice a month, have lots of fun planning and hosting “French Fêtes” like “Crêpe Day”, Chocolate Fondue Fête, Mardi Gras, and even “Croque Monsieur” and “Croissant” Days. During the year, we host French film-with-pizza evenings. We also observe and celebrate National French Week. Field Trips usually include a Spring trip to NYC to see a play, dinner at a local French restaurant and an end-of-year celebration at a local fondue eatery.
