Andrew Chun

Andrew Chun will be attending Columbia University and has been selected to study under the Columbia-Juilliard Exchange Program. A passionate cellist, Andrew attends the Juilliard Pre-College division, a comprehensive conservatory-style music program. Andrew Chun is a winner of the national YoungArts Foundation, the New York State Music Teachers’ National Association Conference, and a finalist on NPR’s From the Top Radio Show, among various other awards. Throughout his summers, Andrew has attended the Perlman Music Program, a residency for gifted musicians. In school, Andrew serves as the President of the National Honors Society, Vice President of his class, Co-President of Science Olympiad, and President of the French Club. Academically, Andrew has participated in his school's science research program, conducting research on the effect of nudges on student study habits. Andrew received the Dwight D. Eisenhower Leadership Award and has been named Valedictorian of his class.

Shinrea Su plans to attend Princeton University in Princeton, New Jersey, with a concentration in economics. In high school, she participated in Science Olympiad and math team, serving multiple officer positions in both clubs since her sophomore year. Shinrea was a member of the Varsity Girls’ Tennis team for five years and conducted independent research under SUNY Albany’s Science Research in the High School program. She has been recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards on regional and national levels for her poetry and flash fiction, and volunteers as a literary editor for a teen writing magazine. Additionally, Shinrea was named a National Merit Scholarship Finalist and a candidate for the U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. Shinrea has been named Salutatorian of her class.
